GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD. COMPETE IN CONTROL.

Proven tools to stop spiraling, release tension, and reset fast so practice actually transfers to competition...

Because “just calm down” doesn’t work. And neither does fake positivity.

All it takes is one lesson. You'll have an immediate shift learning one physical tool - watch today, use it tonight! No deep dive required - just practical resets that work without any background!

You know your athlete is talented.

You’ve seen it in practice.

But they freeze in competition.

One bad race. One bad call. One bad hole.
One missed routine. One slow split.
One strikeout. And suddenly:

They tighten up. They replay it. They spiral.
They unravel. Not because they aren’t good.

Because they were never taught how to regulate their nervous system under pressure.

It’s not a talent gap or they “care too much”

It’s this:

When intensity rises, their body hijacks their performance.

They're competing emotionally instead of strategically.

Adrenaline spikes. Muscles tighten. Breathing changes. Decision-making shifts. Nobody ever taught them what to do when that happens. That’s what Regulate & Reset is for.

“Just Calm Down” Doesn’t Work...

if it did, they would've done it already.

Telling an athlete to relax when adrenaline is high is like telling a storm to stop raining.

They need coping skills that they'll actually want to use...

no eye rolls, just "where has this been"

They learn how to use them in real time.

Not “watch this and try it later.”

We walk through the exercises together.

If emotions are hijacking performance right now, your athlete needs tools they can apply immediately - not months from now.

Don’t Wait For The Season To Fix Itself!

WE’VE IDENTIFIED THE SOLUTION...

Talent Isn’t The Problem. Regulation Is. This is the layer you’ve been missing.

I didn’t learn this when I was younger competing in my prime. I had stomach pain before races. I thought I was allergic to food. I went to doctors. It wasn't food. It was...

Stress! Anxiety! Worry!

It was a nervous system I didn’t know how to regulate.

One bad swim could ruin the rest of my meet. One bad hole could unravel the back nine. I wasn’t weak. I was untrained. And I quit earlier than I should have.

After 20 years working with Olympians, All-Americans, professionals, and youth athletes… I can tell you this:

The same regulation tools work at every level.

The difference? Elite athletes are taught them.

Now yours can be too.

INTRODUCING...

This is your nervous system training lab...

• Stop spiraling after mistakes
• Release tension before competition
• Lower anxiety without losing intensity
• Reset faster when things don’t go as planned
• Compete loose instead of tight

This isn’t another mindset course.

It’s practical reset tools - so your athlete knows exactly what to do when pressure, nerves, and overthinking shows up!

WHAT’S INCLUDED...

01.

How to Relax Your Body & Dissolve Tension During Competition

Inside, your athlete gets 12 quick, practical reset tools they can use:

• Behind the blocks
• In the batter’s box
• Before beam
• Before serve
• Between sets or rounds

These are fast, discreet, and effective. They’ll learn how to:

✔ Breathe correctly under pressure
✔ Activate the vagus nerve to lower cortisol
✔ Ground their body in seconds
✔ Interrupt spiraling thoughts
✔ Redirect focus instantly

No journaling required. Just tools they can use immediately when intensity rises.

02.

At Home Anxiety, Worry, & Overthinking Tools

The nerves don’t start at competition. They start the night before. This section includes 7 deeper exercises designed to lower baseline anxiety and reduce constant “what if” thinking.

These are the tools athletes use at home to:

✔ Improve sleep before big events
✔ Stop replaying worst-case scenarios
✔ Reduce fear of rejection
✔ Work through fear of failure
✔ Calm the body when stress lingers

These aren’t surface-level exercises. They’re structured regulation drills that build emotional stability long term - in sport, school, and life.

When baseline anxiety lowers, performance becomes more consistent.

03.

Structured Reset Systems After Mistakes or Poor Performances

Athletes shut down because they carry their mistakes. They beat themselves up! This category includes 8 structured reset systems designed to stop emotional snowballing mid game.

Your athlete will learn:

✔ A physical release routine
✔ Pattern interrupts to stop replaying errors
✔ A reset acronym to regain composure
✔ Tools to move forward intentionally
✔ How to stop sabotaging after poor performances

These are practical systems they can use:

• Between innings
• At halftime
• Between races
• Between routines
• Between matches

So one bad moment doesn’t become an entire unraveling.

04.

Immediate Application... No Learning Curve Required

This is not a “finish the whole course to benefit” program. You can watch one lesson and use it the next day.

You can watch three and feel different that week.

Every lesson is designed to stand alone - while still building a larger toolbox.

This lab gives your athlete options. If they get bored with one strategy? They try another. If one reset works better for anger vs nerves for them, they can choose. The goal isn’t memorizing 30 lessons. It’s building a regulation toolbox they can access anytime.

No background required.
No prior training needed.
No one-on-one feedback necessary to implement.

Just practical, repeatable tools that work.

Because talent doesn’t disappear under pressure - control does.

TOOLS ATHLETES WOULD ACTUALLY USE IN REAL LIFE

Regain Control of the Body Under Pressure

When stress rises, coordination drops. Regulate & Reset teaches athletes how to physically shift out of fight-or-flight mode so their body stays loose, responsive, and coordinated.

Instead of:
• Tight shoulders
• Shaky hands
• Rushed tempo
• Heavy breathing

They learn how to:

✔ Lower heart rate quickly
✔ Release muscle tension
✔ Stabilize breathing patterns
✔ Stay physically composed in high-intensity moments

Reset Faster After Poor Performances

Most athletes shut down out of embarrassment of "doing bad" This program teaches structured reset systems so mistakes don’t snowball.

Your athlete will learn how to:

✔ Interrupt negative thought loops
✔ Stop replaying errors
✔ Discharge frustration quickly
✔ Move forward intentionally

So one bad moment stays one bad moment - not an entire game.

Lower Anxiety & Worry Before Competition

The nerves don’t start at kickoff. They start the WEEK before.

Regulate & Reset includes at-home exercises designed to:

✔ Reduce pre-game anxiety
✔ Improve sleep before competition
✔ Lower worry and overthinking
✔ Reframe fear without suppressing it

So your athlete doesn’t show up already depleted from stress.

Frustration Etc....

this is for the athlete who...

- Plays great in practice, tight in games

- Replays mistakes all night

- Cries after messing up

- Gets visibly frustrated

- Shuts down

- Is overly hard on themselves

- Feels sick before competing

- Says “I just want to get out of my head”

This is for the high achiever who...

Is physically talented…

But internally spirals when things go wrong.

What this program teaches...

✔ Stop spiraling after mistakes
✔ Release tension before competing
✔ Lower anxiety the night before
✔ Reset quickly mid-game
✔ Stay loose under pressure
✔ Recover faster emotionally
✔ Stop replaying what went wrong

Regulate & Reset is a 30 lesson powerful training lab...

Not "mindset fluff" you can find on YouTube.

It's physical regulation tools that change how your body responds to stress.

What every athlete gets...

• Right way to breathe (not deep breaths)
• Vagus nerve tools to lower cortisol
• Drills that reset coordination
• Structured release routines
• Pattern interrupts to stop replaying it
• Fear-of-failure processing exercises

FREB-background

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

What if we have a question?

You won’t be doing this alone. Inside the portal and app, you can send me a private voice message through SpeakPipe anytime you need help. Ask a question, talk through a challenge, get clarification on an exercise, or ask for an example, and I’ll personally send back a voice response. Not a chatbot. Not generic support. Me. That means you get direct access to years of expertise and real coaching feedback without the cost or hassle of booking a call. No Zoom. No camera. No scheduling around practice. Just private, flexible support that helps you actually implement the material. For this price, that kind of direct access is rare, and it makes a huge difference when it comes to actually using what you learn.

Can multiple athletes in the same family watch together?

Yes! Families love this format because siblings, parents, coaches and athletes can watch and learn together. Just don’t forget, if you’re outside the same household, everyone needs their own login to submit questions, access personalized parts, and watch replays. The best part of this type of delivery is being able to access it later in your own app. It saves where you were, what you’ve watched, and you can review anytime with your login.

What if my athlete is resistant to this?

This is not therapy or counseling. This is performance skill development. We find athletes are resistant to mental training or sports psychology because of what they assume the work looks like. We teach: emotional regulation, attention control, and stress response awareness. It’s no different than hiring: a speed coach, a strength coach, or a nutrition coach. This is brain training!

We have tryouts next week, do we have time to see results?

Yes and this is exactly when many families use it. We often get calls from parents saying: "Tryouts are in two weeks” or “Playoffs start next month” “We need help now.” But our 1:1 schedules fill weeks out. This program gives immediate access. Instead of waiting weeks for an appointment, your athlete can begin learning foundational skills today. It only takes one lesson and you can use it competition right away. This program teaches physical reset strategies that are quick!

what makes this different?

Other programs throw a bunch of theory at you and are often surface level without real life drills. We go straight to application. It’s no-fluff and built for real athletes. Ashley’s background as a coach, teacher, and mental performance expert means she knows how to teach what works, not just talk about it. She has been coaching athletes since 2003 and practicing sport psychology since 2010 with loads of success stories. She believes in giving examples and bringing energy to the party. Her philosophy: just because you know the material doesn't mean you can help others understand it; she believes she has built a successful practice at Maximize the Mind because of how she delivers material and builds rapport with athletes.

will this take care of anxiety and meltdowns completely?

No. And any program that says it will? 🚩Red flag! Regulate & Reset is designed to educate quickly and give you tangible tools that you would actually apply in real life. This isn't a deep dive into what's been holding you back in the past. This will give your athlete strategies they can immediately apply to compete better. It’s the starting point, not the full climb. But it does create momentum, and for many athletes, that’s exactly what they need to stop doubting and start owning their performance. We always get feedback after our workshops saying how much they learned in a short amount of time.

how much time is required?

Each lesson is intentionally short and digestible. We designed it this way because: attention spans matter. Each video is between 8 -15 min, it's not like one long class. Mental training should feel doable. Athletes can complete a lesson in less time than it takes to scroll social media. Some families choose to do 2–3 lessons per week so they can practice it, some complete a category over a weekend, some do one a day, and others revisit specific lessons before big competitions. It’s flexible and self-paced.

is this replacement for 1:1 coaching?

No, coaching brings feedback, but some athletes only need to learn the tools. Many athletes use this while waiting to work with us privately so we can move faster and deeper when we begin our work together, or as an affordable first step. Think of this as the operating system.

1:1 coaching is complete customization. Regulate & Reset is plenty for a ton of athletes because they aren't taught coping skills in school or how to handle obstacles, these are real life skills we'd teach to our 1:1 clients as well.

Is this sport specific?

The mental tools apply across all sports. Examples from multiple levels are included so athletes can easily translate the skills. The brain responds to pressure similarly whether you’re: on a court, on a field, in a pool, on a track, or on a mat.

Does this really work for $97?

This is intentionally priced under value. We want families to experience mental performance training without financial pressure. If your athlete benefits,
you can decide what next step makes sense - Mental Game Camp, one of our other on demand trainings, or 1:1 sessions with us. If they don't, you’re protected by our guarantee. This is access. Not risk.

What if I don't think my athlete will sit down and do it?

The tone is engaging and built for competitive athletes - not clinical language. Driver’s Ed feels mandatory. This feels relevant. Teen athletes don’t want to sit through something that talks down to them or makes them feel like they’re broken, but this isn't that. The lessons are: Short (8–15 minutes). Practical. Filled with real sport examples. Slightly witty and relatable. Focused on solving the exact thing they care about: not embarrassing themselves next competition. They aren’t just “watching videos.” I guide them through exercises in real time. I tell them when to pause. They apply concepts while learning. It feels like training. Not a lecture. Most athletes actually enjoy it because it feels like someone finally understands what they’re experiencing.

Is this too advanced for youth athletes?

No. The concepts are taught clearly and practically, with implementation tools. However, as a parent, you might want to watch it with your athlete if they're younger to help them apply it and reinforce understanding. We have kids go through our program as young as 8 yrs old but we do find the sweet spot is typically 10yrs old to really be able to app

what if my athlete says they don't have a "mental problem"?

that's normal! We don’t frame it that way either. Mental training is not about fixing someone. It’s about building mental strength. This is the competitive edge. In fact, many of the athletes we work with are: talented, driven, high-achieving. They simply never learned how to manage nerves, pressure, anxiety, or excessive frustration when things don't go their way. This program builds skills. Not diagnoses.

will i get results if it's not 1:1 sessions?

You bet. The videos are short, replayable, and designed to be even more effective than one-time live coaching. Athletes can watch at their pace, revisit tools, and use the handouts and audios when they need a reset in real time. This is better than an individual session, since you can review over and over! I often have athletes share with me that a lesson hit even better after they watched it again versus hearing something one time and not being able to soak it in.

who is Regulate & reset for?

Any athlete (roughly ages 10–22) who wants to compete more confidently, stay composed under pressure, and stop letting one mistake spiral into a bad performance. We’ve had athletes from every sport, coaches, and parents go through our programs. Just show up, hit play, and let it sink in. Most athletes are physically prepared and mentally drained. Ashley created this to offer athletes (and their families) an easier way to get the same tools she teaches in private coaching, without having to wait for a spot to open up. If you're a coach wanting to help your athletes "reset" and not "internalize it all" so they compete stronger, or create a team culture to be all in as a team, then you could benefit by learning what to teach your team. If you're a parent who wants to know how to help their kid "relax" and "not get so upset" when they don't meet their expectations, then you can watch along with them to help them remember what to do! If you're a teacher looking for fun strategies to use in your classroom, you could apply it as well. We have had teachers, managers, coaches, parents, athletes, performers (band, theater, choir) all purcahse our programs in the past. This program could be a great review for you if you already work or used to work with one of our coaches 1:1. Depending on how many sessions you've had, how long it's been since you've been in, or what you had going on at the time - you'll probably learn something new. Ashley always stay up to date on current research.
